My parents and I were friends of Bill Vallejo and family
My parents and I were friends of Bill Vallejo and family who owned Southern Auto Repair on Broad street next to Walt Whitman Bridge access road.
Bill found a car for me that at I could drive after I recovered from a long stay and multiple surgeries at the Navy Hospital in 1971, a short distance away. My right leg was in a cast for months and the car gave me the opportunity to obtain out patient physical therapy daily for a year.
He and his family was always kind to us.
